Small Groups

Our small groups are an opportunity for us to get to know each other better through more intimate times of Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Currently we have one that meets on on Thursday nights at our building and one on Sunday evenings in the home of one of our church members in the Glendale/Pasadena area. This is a great time for you to come and get to know us better!

Adult Bible Classes

On Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. we have an adult Bible study. The topics change monthly and are always a great opportunity for us to learn and grow closer to God's word. We'd love to have you join us!

Children's Ministry

At the Hollywood Church of Christ children are a very special part of who we are. We are blessed to have an active and growing Children's Ministry that allows parents and those who love to teach an opportunity to participate. Children's classes are on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. The Children are also dismissed to Children's Church during a portion of the worship service.

The Children's Ministry also plans several events throughout the year for the children and to reach out to the community.

Women's Ministry

The Women at the Hollywood Church of Christ are devoted to Christ and love to find opportunities to strengthen their relationship with Him and with each other. There are many opportunities for Women to fellowship and they love to have new women of any age join them!

Prayer Ministry

We are a praying church. The Spiritual Leaders of the Hollywood Church of Christ meet weekly to pray over the church's needs. We also extend opportunities for personal times of prayer following our church services. When worshipping with this church, you will also observe how so many elements are bathed in prayer.

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God…" - Colossians 1:9-10

Missions

We believe that it is important to support missions both foreign and domestic. Our financially supported missions include China, Nigeria, and right here in East Hollywood. There are many other places in The USA and around the world that receive attention from the Hollywood Church of Christ.

Community Outreach

Many people have a picture of Hollywood as all glitz and glamour, where every resident lives in luxury and has no worries. We know that life is full of challenges and difficulties, no matter where you live. Hollywood and the surrounding communities, like so many others around the world, are filled with people who are searching for answers as they face their daily struggles. We try to reach out to our community whenever possible, whether it be handing out notebooks & pencils to children for school or inviting the community to a special Easter service to tell them about Jesus. We recognize our responsibility to give back to the local neighborhood where our church meets.
